Description:
Simcha (or Simhah) ben Samuel, a student of Rashi, writes in this excerpt about entering the synagogue for worship. He observes that there are women who will not go when they are menstruating. He sees their actions as praiseworthy but notes that synagogues are not like the Temple. Men who enter synagogues are also impure. Everyone may enter synagogues to worship.
