Contributor(s): Title: Il matrimonium meticulosam in un "consilium" di Bartolomeo Cipolla (ca. 1420-1475) [Bartolomeo Cipolla had to weigh indirect evidence in the case between Alvise de Sonzino and Ursina Basso to determine whether the groom had been coerced into marriage. The jurist weighed the evidence presented and advised the judge to dismiss fear as a factor in the wedding.
