  • Description: Sister Resens de Insula, a nun at the Holy Cross Monastery in Apt, testified during the canonization inquest for Countess Delphine de Puimichel in 1363. When Delphine had spoken at the monastery in 1351, she had recognized within Resens a great sadness. The holy woman then spoke to Resens and gave her such consolation that the nun felt a reassurance unlike any she had experienced after repeated confessions. [Feminae editor]
