Galgano Montesiepi [In suggesting a new patron for the frescoes (a lay-brother associated with the monastery), Dunlop explores the Virgin Mary's role in the paintings done by Lorenzetti. The theme of calling and acceptance is represented both in the Annunciation and in the one scene from Galgano's life.
