Title:
The Development of the "Trotula" [the Trotula collection has a complicated history; the earliest texts mix European medical lore with Arabic material derived from Constantine the African and other translators; the collection and its component parts were translated into several vernacular languages, including Hebrew and Irish; appendices include a listing of "Trotula" Latin manuscripts, a list of medieval translations by language, and three collations of "Trotula" texts, the "Liber de sinthomatibus mulierum," the "De curis mulierum," and the "De ornatu mulierum"].
