With every death the kla can claim a new martyr to its cause; a cause they say is growing. They say their ranks swell with each new offensive against civilian targets.
The serbs who control kosovo are also burying their dead; mostly policemen killed in kla ambushes.
but here in kla controlled kosovo ethnic albanians say their dead are different. Their dead were fighting for freedom and independence from what they call a repressive serb regime. Ethnic albanians outnumber serbs and they demand full equality.
