Marriage and Sexuality in Al-Andalus [The author examines Muslim ideas of sexuality through three texts, a religious treatise ("Kitab Adab al-nisa' " ("Treatise on the Proper Behavior of Women")), an encyclopedia ("'al- 'Iqd al-farid" ("The Unique Necklace")), and a literary anthology ("Bahjat al-majalis" ("The Beauty of Literary Gatherings")).
