  • Title: Unnatural History: Gender and Genealogy in Gerald of Wales's "Topographia Hibernica" [In his text, the "Topographia Hibernica," Giradus Cambrensis had two major complaints about the Irish: their sexual immorality and their difficulties in organizing themselves politically. He saw these as symptoms of the lack of self-restraint which plagued the country in many different ways.
