Un monastero assalito dagli uomini, ignorato dagli storici e ricostruito dalla monache: Santa Maria di Valmarina presso Bergamo (secoli XII-XV) [The twelfth century saw contemporaneous development of monastic and civic institutions in Bergamo and its vicinity. Santa Maria di Valmarina was founded outside Bergamo in the twelfth century as a monastery for nuns. It was patronized by the city's elite, but it suffered in the upheavals of the fourteenth century.
