  • Abstract: This piece focuses primarily on the paleopathology of medieval English women. It is a wonderful synthesis of the basic questions of how traditional historical methods (based on documents) and archeological methods (in this case, primarily paleopathological ones) can work together to increase understanding of medieval women's lives. This would work exceptionally well in teaching. [Abstract republished with permission of Monica H. Green.]
