Title:
The Conclusion of Christina of Markyate's "Vita" [the author argues that Christina's "Vita" was left unfinished due to the death of Geoffrey, Abbot of St. Alban's, and supporter of and believer in Christina's sanctity]; evidently some of the monks were dismayed at Geoffrey's spending on alms (including twice rebuilding Markyate for Christina) as welll as the rumors about sexual improprieties between the abbot and the holy woman].
