The prioress of Campsey [Ash] presented herself… [Item 903 from the hundred of Blything concerns the women’s monastery of Campsey in Suffolk. The prioress entered a plea asking that William the Fleming discharge her from services and customs on the tenement she held from him. The services were demanded by the earl of Norfolk.
