Further Information on the Origins of Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Digby 86 [the author suggests that the Digby scribe mentions two noble women (Aubreie de Basincbourne and Ide de Beauchaunp) at the end of the poem, "Estrif de ii dames," perhaps to indicate that they resembled the two women of the poem, one virtuous and the other dissolute].
