Paul Getty Museum [The authors argue that the portrait was based on Rogier van der Weyden's donor portrait of Isabel done for the altarpiece given to the Portugese monastery of Batalha. An assistant painted the panel portrait perhaps around 1450 without the skill or sensitivity of van der Weyden. The painting evidently passed to Isabel's great-granddaughter, Margaret of Austria, where it was given more magnificent clothing and jewels around 1530.
