The Feminae database is changing over to a new software and website, thanks to the work of librarians at the University of Iowa.
Special thanks to Chris Africa, Suzanne Julich, Wendy Robertson, Linda Roth, Raj Sedhain, and Paul Soderdahl for their commitment, past, present, and future, to make the Feminae Index available online to all users.
The data in the FilemakerPro version has been improved and transferred to an SQL database. Four thousand records from the last year will be added over the summer to include publications from 2009 and 2010. Updating will now be continuous rather than once or twice a year.
Planning is proceeding on long-range improvements including link resolvers for connecting to full-text articles and live subject headings in
