Title : From Epic to Romance: Gender and Sexuality in the "Roman d’Enéas" [The author argues that the "Roman d’Enéas" represents a major ideological shift from epic to romance. The homophobic sentiments expressed by some of the characters spring from the underlying homosocial desire present throughout the romance. Feminist and queer theory form the framework for the author's reading. Title note supplied by Feminae.].
