Description:
The Morris dance traditionally was performed at carnivals in the fifteenth century. The dance consisted of men executing comically exaggerated erotic movements. Here, a number of men, among which appears a fool, dance before a woman who will award a ring to the man she chooses as the winner of the dance. A number of spectators watch from outside through a window.
